Archie Ginocchio Canvasback Pair

Solid carved redwood canvasback pair by Archie Ginocchio (San Pablo, CA) ca. 1920s. This exact pair are shown of page 227 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. The hen is good and all original. The drake has old in use repaint to the white areas. The drake is missing the left eye. Both have the diamond G brand on their backs representing the family’s cattle brand. Each measures approximately 15” in length.
