Classic redhead drake by Ben Schmidt (Detroit, MI) ca. 1940s. Paint is good and original with a nice warm patina. Hollowed from the bottom with a missing keel. Branded DWH for David W. Hodgman, understudy to Miles Pirnie, Michigan waterfowl biologist. Measures 13.5” in length.
