Ed Snyder Pintail Hen

Super early pintail hen by Ed Snyder (Rio Vista, CA) ca. 1940. Excellent and all original paint. This decoy is certainly in the same rig as the mallard drake documented as “Snyder’s first” shown on page 414 of Wildfowl Decoys of California. A very rare and stylish example. Measures 13” in length. Note several dents on the back and one under the tail on the left.
