George Rule Canvasback Pair

Solid carved redwood canvasback pair by George Rule (Vallejo, CA) ca. early 1900s. Paint appears to be good and original. See page 205 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller for additional information on this early CA maker. Each measures 14.5” in length. This pair came from the sellers great grandparents who lived next to and were friends with the maker.
