Jack Kraft Canvasback Pair

Wonderful canvasback pair by Jack Kraft (Vallejo, CA) ca. 1930s-40s. This exact pair are pictured at the top of page 200 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. The hen is in excellent and all original paint. The drake is in old working repaint by the maker following the original pattern. A bold pair of cans with deep relief carved wings, upright heads and red glass eyes. Absolutely the nicest examples by this maker I’ve ever offered.
