Jake Ferreira Pintail Drake

Good and all original paint on this snuggle head pose hollow carved pintail drake by Jake Ferreira (Newark, CA) ca. 1930s. Considered style #1. See page 254 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller for a similar example. The head appears to have been broken and reattached with glue which has dripped onto the back. Measures just over 14” in length.
