John Ferreira Pintail Pair

Excellent and all original paint on this solid carved redwood pintail pair by John Ferriera (Vallejo, CA) ca. 1940s. Nearly mint condition. Each measures 16” in length. See page 192 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. These are by far the best Ferreira decoys I’ve ever offered. The collectors tag on the bottom attributing to Dick Allen is incorrect.
